    PPC stands for pay-per-click, a form of online advertising in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Essentially, it’s a way of paying for visits to your site, rather than “earning” those visits organically through SEO. Google Ads is one of the most popular forms of PPC

    The main benefit of PPC over SEO is speed. For any of you that have had SEO work carried out in the past, you’ll know how slow it can be to get results. If you don’t have the time or the budget to get the results you need in SEO, PPC is a great short term solution to drive leads and test different markets.

     

    The main benefit of SEO is that the traffic coming from SEO (organic) is free, while traffic generated from PPC costs money for each click through to your website. But this is a small price to pay for traffic that you can drive to your site within hours of setting up a campaign.

    Your ads should begin to show on Google after an hour or so of being published. It can take some time for the account to ‘bed in’ as it were, but it will start to drive traffic within the first day or so. Each account is different, but we should start to see results within the first month at the most. A ‘result’ in most cases is an enquiry of some sort, but it will completely depend on the desirable action that you wish for consumers to partake.

    There is no minimum contract length, so once the campaign has started, if you feel that it isn’t working for you or if you need to pause, then you can do so at any time. All I need is 30 days notice prior to pausing or canceling the campaign.

    This is a question that I get asked time and time again. If you have tried PPC before and it didn’t work, it’s most likely that there was a problem with the way the campaign was set up.

     

    There are many components to a PPC campaign that could have caused it to not perform well, such as the keywords you were targeting weren’t quite right or your campaigns weren’t structured properly.

     

    If you still have access to the old campaigns, I can analyse the data and highlight why your old campaign didn’t work, as well as making suggestions on how we would set up your new campaign, should you want to try it again.

    Every PPC client will receive a monthly report detailing the work that has been carried out for that month, along with all the data such as number of impressions, clicks, cost per click, click through rate, conversions etc. I can also tailor the reports to your specific requirements to ensure that I am providing feedback on the key statistics that matter to you most.
